So if you preview an image with the Windows Image Viewer, it should convert the image colors to the monitor gamut so the image is displayed correctly. It should be set to whatever the monitor is set to on the on-screen menu. If it is set to sRGB, it should compensate and turn down the LEDs. So on a monitor with exactly 100% AdobeRGB coverage, if it is set to AdobeRGB, a 100% green input should set the green LEDs to 100% intensity. This sets up hardware translation of colors.
